Denver – The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's basketball team is traveling to Fairbanks, Alaska to play in the MT. McKinley Bank North Star Invitational where they will play three games.

The Roadrunners kick off the Invitational Thursday, November 24 at 1 p.m. against Stanislaus State. The team will play Newman Friday, November 25 at 1p.m., and will conclude against the host school, University of Alaska Fairbanks Saturday, November 26 at 3 p.m.

The Roadrunners played in the Concordia Classic last weekend earning their first two road wins of the season defeating Saint Martin's 59-38 and Concordia University 70-55.

Stanislaus State split its games last week with a win over Academy of Art 67-61 while losing to Notre Dame De Namur 64-48.

Newman won both of its games in the Pioneer Classic with wins over Texas Women's University 69-58 and Midwestern State 67-52.

University of Alaska Fairbanks split its games last week with a loss to CSU-Pueblo 91-87 and a win over Western State 72-55.
