The Roadrunner men’s tennis squad in 1994 posted a 15-1 (.938) mark for the year, which was the best single-season record in school history at the time of induction. The only loss came to nationally-ranked Southern Colorado (CSU-Pueblo) in the third match of the season. The Roadrunners went on to win their final 13 matches and finished third in the Colorado Collegiate Tournament.
No. 1 singles player Martin Coe had a 17-4 (.810) record for the season and No. 2 player Jake Keller went 19-2 (.905). The duo played No. 1 doubles together and posted a 17-3 mark. It was the final year after 11 seasons at Metro State for Head Coach John Arntz, who holds the coaching record for wins (65) at the college.
The 1994 team featured five seniors in Coe, Rodriguez, Windham, Christian Martinez and David Woods.
