Men's Soccer 1980-82
Lorne Donaldson was one of the greatest players in Metro State men's soccer history after playing three years from 1980-82. He was an All-American all three years.
The Roadrunners posted winning records in each of his final two years at Metro State. After his three-year career, he served as an assistant coach for three years from 1983-85.
Donaldson came to Metro State from Jamaica, where he played on the country's national team from 1975-79. He earned his degree in physical education at Metro State and went on to a successful youth coaching career in the Denver area after coaching professionally in the American Professional Soccer League for Denver, Tampa Bay, Los Angeles and Montreal.
