  • Led MSU Denver's 1986 NAIA district soccer champions with 27 points.
  • Named second-team All-Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Soccer League in 1985.
  • Perhaps best known for his fundraising efforts in the Denver community.
  • Serves as executive director for Dawg Nation Hockey Foundation, which he founded in 2003, and has distributed thousands of dollars
  • In 2012, he was named a Channel 7 Everyday Hero Award winner, and was a finalist for Colorado youth soccer coach of the year.
  • In 2014, he was the Colorado Rapids Community MVP and finished second in MLS league-wide voting for the prestigious MLS Community MVP.
  • In 2015, he was a finalist for Colorado youth soccer coach of the year and was named the Channel 4 "Game Changer" for the month of February.
