Men's Basketball 1969-72
• Exceptional defender, while averaging double figures in scoring
• Led the team in assists each season
• Ranked in the top 10 in the region in free throw percentage each year
• Graduated from Metro State in 1972 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics
• Since graduation, worked in the banking business until 1984 and has been in commercial real estate since and lives in Denver, along with his two children and seven grandchildren
• Continues to be involved with Metro State having served on the Board of Directors of both the Alumni Association and the Metro State Foundation as is a member of the Roadrunner Club and the President’s Society
• One of Colorado’s top age group competitors in both running and triathlons for over 20 years.
• Completed over twenty marathons, nationally ranked in the olympic distance triathlon finishing in the top ten of the USTA national championship
• Along with his wife, Rachella, the only married couple to have completed in all 35 Bolder Boulders
• Named the Denver Athletic Club’s male athlete of the year in 1998
