Women's Soccer 1991-94
Rosie Durbin was the sparkplug on offense for the Metro State

women's soccer team in the early 1990s, dominating the field during all four years as a Roadrunner.
The nomination to Metro State's Hall of Fame closed the book on a fine career that included 40 goals and 94 points. She finished her career second all-time in goals and points.
By the time she graduated, she compiled an impressive list of awards for both on-field performances and off-field performances. She earned all-conference honors all four years of her career and earned academic all-conference in her junior and senior seasons. In her sohpomore season, she was named to the All-West Region second team. As a junior, she scored nine goals and had four assists to be named first team All-West Region.
Durbin reached the pinnacle of a great career as a senior, scoring 17 goals and dishing out six assists to lead the team for the second year in a row. Once again, she was named to the first team All-West Region and was named Colorado Athletic Conference Player of the Year. On the national level, Durbin was selected NSCAA first team All-America and was also named to the NSCAA Scholar-Athlete All-America team.
Her dedication to high standards of athletic performance, scholarship and community leadership led the NCAA to name her Colorado's Sportswoman of the Year on Sept. 15, 1995.
