President Jordan has been a tremendous supporter of MSU Denver Athletics since entering the position in 2005.
Since taking over his role at MSU Denver, softball, women's golf and track & field were all added to the list of NCAA-sponsored sports in the Roadrunners athletics department.
In 2015, President Jordan won the Dr. Claire Van Ummersen Presidential Leadership Award from the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) for his leadership and promotion of women's opportunities in athletics.
President Jordan has shown his support in many ways, including becoming the Chair of the Division II NCAA Presidents Council and by championing the building of the Regency Athletic Complex at MSU Denver.
President Jordan announced his retirement from MSU Denver in the fall of 2016.
