Men's Soccer 1987-90

Tim Yunger had perhaps the greatest individual season in Metro State men's soccer history during his senior year, setting a trio of school records.  But it was his play throughout his career that distinguished Yunger from the rest as he earned all-conference honors three times.

As a senior, he scored 18 goals and had 13 assists for 49 points in 19 games.  His averages of 2.58 points and 0.68 assists in a season both remained school records at the time of his induction, as well as his six game-winning goals.  For his career, Yunger had 24 goals, 19 assists and 67 points.  Yunger ranked fourth all-time in assists, fifth in points and sixth in goals and game-winning goals (8) at the time of induction.

he was named honorable mention All-Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Soccer League as a freshman second team All-RMISL as a junior and was the Colorado Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a senior in 1990.
