Women's Soccer 1985, 1987-89
Tonja Ridgeway was one of the first dominant women's

soccer players in school history, earning first team All-America honors in 1985. At the time of her induction, she ranked in the top-10 in school history in points and goals, ranking ninth in each category with 72 points and 27 goals.
Her freshman season was one for the books as broke the record for assists in a freshman season with nine, which remained at the time of induction. Ridgeway also had 17 goals for 43 points in just 19 games during her first year.
After sitting out her second season on campus, Ridgeway returned to the pitch in 1987 and scored four goals and an assist for nine points. She was held to just three assists as a junior, but bounced back to net six goals and add five assists for 21 points as a senior. Ridgeway was named honorable mention all-region as both a junior and as a senior.
The Roadrunners posted a winning record in each of Ridgeway's four seasons and was 44-22-3 during that time.
