Jeremy Tittle

Jeremy Tittle completed his fourth season as head coach for the Roadrunners in 2018, compiling a record of 42-31-5 for a .571 winning percentage that ranks as the second best in program history. In 10 seasons with the MSU Denver men’s soccer program as a head coach and assistant, he was a part of teams that were 111-72-15.

In the 2018 season, MSU Denver was 9-10-0 overall and 8-6-0 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play for sixth place. The Roadrunners lost at Colorado Mesa in the first round of the RMAC Tournament. Forward Jaime Gutierrez earned RMAC freshman of the year honors, while midfielder Yannick Schad earned All-RMAC second-team recognition.
 
In 2017, the Roadrunners were 8-11-1 overall, including 8-6 in the RMAC, tying four fourth place with 24 points. MSU Denver beat Colorado-Colorado Springs in the RMAC Tournament's first round before falling to ninth-ranked Colorado School of Mines in the tournament semifinals. Schad was named All-RMAC first team, with midfielder Nils Runnberg and defender Dylan Wood earning All-RMAC second team.

In 2016, Tittle led the Roadrunners to a 12-6-2 overall finish, and at 9-4-1 in the RMAC they qualified for the league tournament as the fifth seed, and advanced to the semifinals with a 2-1 overtime victory at Colorado School of Mines before falling on penalty kicks at top-seeded Colorado Mesa. They extended their streak of 10 or more wins to 14 consecutive seasons. Seniors Josh Belfrage  and Dustin Berg were selected All-South Central Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

In 2015, Tittle helped the team to a 13-4-2 overall record and an 8-2 mark in the RMAC in his first season as head coach. Belfrage was named to the All-South Central Region second team and was one of four players earning all-conference honors. Forward Jeff Gillis joined Belfrage on the first team, and forward Danny Arrubla and defender Tyler Trujillo made the second team. Tittle also coached the RMAC Academic Player of the Year and an MSU Denver Scholar-Athlete in Berg. Three Roadrunners were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.

In his last season as assistant coach, Tittle helped the 2014 Roadrunners finish 10-8 overall, despite none of the 11 starters being a senior. MSU Denver was ranked as high as No. 8 in NCAA Division II, but dropped out after six losses by one goal. Tittle helped coach three all-region and first-team All-RMAC players. In 2013, Tittle helped guide a team that returned just five starters from the previous season to a 10-6-3 record.

In 2012 the Roadrunners finished 12-7-1 overall and 8-5-1 in the RMAC, going 5-1-1 over their final seven games. MSU Denver advanced to its fourth NCAA tournament in six years in 2011, while posting a 14-7-1 overall record. The 2010 squad was led by Steven Emory, who was named RMAC and Central Region player of the year for the second straight season and became the school's first-ever first-team All-American. The Roadrunners posted a 12-6-2 record, including 8-4-2 in the RMAC. 

In Tittle's first season with the program in 2009, MSU Denver went  11-7-3, including 8-4-2 in the RMAC. The Roadrunners narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA tournament as just two teams from the Central Region advanced. Fort Lewis, which handed MSU Denver three of its losses, ended up winning the national championship. Emory was named RMAC Player of the Year and Daktronics Central Region Player of the Year.

Tittle came to MSU Denver with an extensive coaching career, including experience most recently in the Denver metro area as the senior director of coaching for the Littleton Soccer Club. Prior to working in the Denver area, Tittle was the interim head coach and head assistant coach at NCAA Division I West Virginia for one year, assisting in all areas on and off the field. 

Tittle also spent seven years as the head coach at NCAA Division II Lees-McRae (N.C.) College, where he earned conference coach of the year honors, won three conference championships and helped develop four professional players. He was Lees-McRae's all-time leader in wins and had a record there of 73-68-1, including 59-25-1 in his last four seasons.

Tittle also served as an assistant coach at Midwestern State (Texas) for one season and also spent a year as an assistant at King (Tenn.).

As a player at King, he earned All-America honors, was the college's male athlete of the year and was a two-year team captain. He was also the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Athlete of the Year. Tittle graduated from King in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in psychology, and earned his master's degree from Midwestern State in 1996 in kiniesiology with an emphasis in human relations.

A native of Wichita Falls, Texas, Tittle resides in Denver with his wife, Kristin and two children Connor and Keira.
