Alexa Hardick is in her third year at Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2019-20 as women's basketball assistant coach.
Hardick helped guide the team out of a slow start to the 2018-19 season as the Roadrunners went 13-4 to finish the regular season and wound up 16-13 overall and 15-7 for third place
She helped MSU Denver get back to the NCAA Division II national tournament in 2017-18, as the Roadrunners went 23-9 overall, placed second in the RMAC at 17-5, and defeated conference rival Colorado State University-Pueblo in the first round of the South Central Regional.
Hardick served as a graduate assistant for the women’s basketball team at Regis from 2015 through 2017. While at Regis, her teams went 41-19 overall while making an appearance in the NCAA Division II tournament in the 2016-17 season. She oversaw the academics of the team that maintained a GPA of 3.41 in the 2016-17 season. In addition to coaching and the supervision of academics, Hardick coordinated community service activities including Team IMPACT, Boys and Girls Club, Mount Saint Vincent and Children’s Hospital.
Hardick graduated from the University of San Francisco in May of 2014 with a bachelor's of science in business administration. While at the USF, Hardick completed four years of Division I basketball. Hardick was ranked 13th in USF’s all-time record book for 3-point shooting percentage as well as earning two-time academic all-conference honorable mention during her career.
The Texas native currently resides in Arvada, Colo.
