The No. 12 Metro State women's soccer team (10-1-2, 6-0-1 RMAC) got two goals from Jaimie Stephenson and cruised to a 4-0 victory over CSU-Pueblo, Friday afternoon in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) play in Pueblo, Colo. The 'Runners have now gone 12 straight games without a loss.
Madison McQuilliams scored the first goal of the game in the ninth minute off an assist from Jen Thomas. Stephenson scored her two goals just two minutes apart. The first on a header assisted from Ashley Munchiando and the second on an assist from Gabby Klipp. Thomas finished the scoring in the 85th minute with her seventh goal of the season.
The 'Runners next face Colorado School of Mines (7-2-2, 5-0-1 RMAC) in a battle of first-place conference contenders, Friday at 1 p.m. at Auraria Field.
