The No. 12 Metro State women's soccer team (12-1-3, 8-0-2 RMAC) had 16 shots on goal in defeating CSU-Pueblo, 7-1, Friday afternoon in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) play at Auraria Field.

Jen Thomas and Jaimie Stephenson both scored two goals and Becca Mays, Madison McQuilliams and Kathryn Gosztyla added one goal apiece. Becca Maloney played 63 minutes and did not allow a goal. Lisa Jewett played the last 27 minutes of the game and allowed just one goal.

The 'Runners will finish their regular season home schedule, Sunday at 12 p.m. against UC-Colorado Springs. Metro State will honor its three seniors before the game.
