The Metro State volleyball team fell to Fort Lewis, 25-21, 25-19, 25-20, Saturday evening in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) play in Durango, Colo. The 'Runners fell to 8-7 overall and 6-2 in the RMAC.

Metro State had leads in all three sets, but could not take advantage. The Skyhawks used the energy of the partisan crowd to secure the victory. The 'Runners committed 35 errors in the loss.

The 'Runners host three matches this week with Adams State (Thursday), Western State (Friday) and Colorado State-Pueblo (Saturday). All three matches are scheduled for 7 p.m.
