DENVER, Colo. -- Jesse Wagstaff tallied 21 points and Donte Nicholas added 20 points as the Roadrunners held off Johnson & Wales, 78-75.
Metro State trailed 43-42 at intermission, marking the second straight game the Roadrunners rallied in the second half for the victory.
Metro State begins a four-game home stand Friday, Jan. 16 vs. Colorado State-Pueblo. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The Roadrunners then host New Mexico Highlands (Jan. 17), Regis (Jan. 20) and UCCS (Jan. 23).
