Box Score Denver, Colo. – The No. 1 Metro State men's basketball team moved to 10-0 overall and 5-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Saturday night after defeating Regis 78-71. Regis fell to 3-6 and 0-5.

Reggie Evans (Aurora, Colo./Rangeview H.S.) put in 19 while
Brandon Jefferson (Flower Mound, Texas/Lewisville H.S.) added 16.
Jonathan Morse (Boulder, Colo./Fairview H.S.) scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, 10 boards in the second half, to record a double-double.
Metro State trailed 37-34 at the half. Regis shot 14-of-21 from the floor for 66.6 percent in the first half. The Roadrunners were also outrebounded in the first half 14-10.
The second half would belong to Metro State. The Roadrunners went on a 17-5 run with just over 11 minutes to go in the game. Metro State outrebounded Regis 26-15 in the second half and held the Rangers to 41 percent from the field. Morse grabbed nine of his boards in the second half.
The Roadrunners will return to action on Dec. 30 to take on Colorado Mesa. The tip-off is slated for 5 p.m. MT at the Auraria Event Center. Tickets are available online at GoMetroState.com.
