Metro State will open the RMAC Shootout at home as the No. 1 seed against Western State at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The semifinals and finals will be played in Pueblo, Colo., at the State Fair Events Center.

The Roadrunners are currently on a 10-game winning streak, just the fifth double digit winning streak in school history and the second this season.

A win Tuesday will break the school record for wins in a season and will also break the record for longest home winning streak. The Roadrunners went 25-5 in 1997-98. Their previous longest home winning streak was 17 games from Feb. 20, 1991, to Jan. 3, 1993. The current 17-game home winning streak started on Feb. 19, 2010.

Metro State is currently ranked No. 10 in the nation. It is the first time in school history Metro State has been in the top-10.
