Box Score ALAMOSA, Colo . - Metro State's turf woes continued on Sunday, playing to a scoreless tie at Adams State in Alamosa, Colo. The Roadrunners are now 10-4-2 overall and 7-3-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while ASU is 4-10-2 and 2-8-2.
Metro State is now 3-8-1 over its past 12 games on artificial surface, being outscored 19-10 in those games. This season, MSU has three goals in five games on turf.
It was the second consecutive game for Metro State on turf after a tough 1-0 loss at Colorado Mesa on Friday in which the Roadrunners outshot CMU 28-9. It was more of the same on Sunday as Metro State dominated the game, outshooting the Grizzlies 35-7, but still failed to put one past goalkeeper Christie Stemple, who made seven saves.
