Complete Notes (PDF)

Metro State will play at No. 2 Colorado Mines on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and at Western State on Friday.

Notes:
•    Metro State allowed five goals in two games Oct. 25 and 27 after allowing just six through 14 games.

•    This season's 11-0-3 record through 14 games was the best start since 2005 (started 23-0-0 before a season-ending tie in NCAA quarterfinals).

•    After not scoring a goal and having one assist through her first 32 career games, Marie Ipock (Los Lunas, N.M./Los Lunas H.S.) has two goals and one assist in the past four games.

•    Brandi Farley (Colorado Springs/Pine Creek H.S.) netted the team's first hat trick of the season on Oct. 18 in a 7-0 win over Colorado Christian.

•    Farley is scoreless in the three games since her hat trick.

•    Abby Rolph (Golden, Colo./Golden H.S.) had a monster weekend on Oct. 18 and 20, scoring four goals and two assists in two games, including the game-winning goal in each game.

•    Rolph broke the school record for consecutive games with an assist with five (Sept. 27 to Oct. 13).

•    Karisa Price (Gilbert, Ariz./Highland H.S.) was named RMAC offensive player of the week on Oct. 8 after scoring three goals with three assists in two games vs. CSU-Pueblo and Colorado Christian.

•    Price had a part in all four of Metro State's goals on Oct. 6 at Colorado Christian with two goals and two assists in the 4-0 road victory.

•    Since serving a one-game suspension for yellow cards, last year's leading scorer Price is without a point in the last three games.

•    Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Karisa Fernandez (Westminster, Colo./Standley Lake H.S.) made her first career start on Sept. 29 at New Mexico Highlands and made four saves in the 4-1 victory.

•    Metro State's 2-1 double-overtime win on Sept. 22 was the first win at Colorado Mesa since 2010.

•    Metro State held Emporia State without a shot attempt on Sept. 15, the sixth time in school history and first since 2009 the Roadrunners have held an opponent to zero shot attempts.

•    Metro State allowed just one goal through the first five games this season, the fewest goals allowed over that span since allowing zero goals through five games in 2005 (did not allow a goal until sixth game in 2005).

•    Goalkeeper Nicole Jablonski (White Lake, Mich./Walled Lake Northern H.S.) was named RMAC defensive player of the week on Sept. 10 after recording two shutouts to open the season.

•    Jablonski became the first Metro State freshman since Madison McQuilliams in 2007 to earn RMAC player of the week honors after the first weekend of the season.

•    Jablonski is the first Metro State freshman goalkeeper since Rachel Zollner in 2005 to record shutouts in her first two career starts (Zollner had five straight combined shutouts, but her first was not a solo shutout).

•    Jablonski is the first Metro State freshman goalkeeper since Tina Churchill in 2004 to record two consecutive solo shutouts in her first two career starts.

•    Metro State tied No. 14 Dallas Baptist 0-0 on Sept. 7 and No. 12 St. Edward's 1-1 on Sept. 13 after going 4-3-0 last season against ranked opponents.

•    Metro State snapped a four-game winless streak on artificial turf with a 2-0 win at West Texas A&M on Sept. 5.

•    Head coach Adrianne Pietz was married over the summer, changing her last name from Almaraz.
