Box Score SAN DIEGO - Metro State committed 22 turnovers as Cal State San Bernardino topped the Roadrunners 60-52 on Saturday at the UC San Diego Thanksgiving Classic. The Roadrunners fell to 1-3 on the season, while CSUSB improved to 1-4.

Cassie Lambrecht (Colorado Springs/Golden H.S.) scored 15 points to lead the Roadrunners, hitting three 3-pointers. Amy Nelson (Richmond, Utah/Sky View H.S.) added 14 points and six rebounds. Tai Jensen (Troy, Idaho/Troy H.S.) provided seven points and six rebounds off the bench.

MSU Denver committed 22 turnovers and forced just 11 for the difference in the game. The Roadrunners did outrebound the Coyotes 39-31.

Metro State never led in the game, but got within one point just before halftime before two free throws put CSUSB ahead 33-30 at half.

A 15-2 run by the Coyotes put the game out of reach for the Roadrunners as they trailed 51-34 with 12 minutes remaining.

Metro State will open conference play at Regis University at 3 p.m. next Saturday.
