LAMBRECHT EARNS RMAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
•  Â
Cassie Lambrecht (Colorado Springs/Golden H.S.) was named RMAC offensive player of the week on Nov. 25 after the season's first two games.
•   Lambrecht averaged 18.0 points and shot 47.6 percent from the floor, 45.5 percent from 3-point range and 91.7 percent at the free throw line.
•   She had 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting in a 75-63 loss to No. 24 Minnesota State on Nov. 22.
•   She followed that up with a career-high 20 points and three assists, hitting 4-of-7 from the outside and 6-of-6 at the line in a 79-64 win over Nebraska-Kearney on Nov. 23.
SIXTH WOMAN

Tai Jensen (Troy, Idaho/Troy H.S.) is averaging 9.8 points off the bench through five games.
•   Having one of the team's top scorers come off the bench is nothing new under head coach
Tanya Haave.
•  Â
Jenessa Burke (Aurora, Colo./Highlands Ranch H.S.) finished second on the team in scoring (10.3) in 2011-12, playing all 31 games as a reserve.
•   Alyssa Benson also averaged 8.5 points as primarily as bench player that season, while finishing third on the team in scoring (8.7) in 2010-11 with just two starts.
HOLD ONTO THE BALL
•   The Achilles' heel for the Roadrunners so far has been turnovers as they average 20.0 turnovers through five games.
•   The Roadrunners are 1-1 in games they win the turnover battle and 0-3 in games where turnover are even or they lose the turnover battle.
EXHIBITION GAMES
•   Metro State went 2-0 in exhibition games this season.

Amy Nelson (Richmond, Utah/Sky View H.S.) was the leading scorer for the Roadrunners, averaging 12.0 points and 5.5 rebounds.

Elena Velasquez (Albuquerque, N.M./Sandia H.S.) averaged 11.5 points off the bench.

Fawn Brady (Grand Junction, Colo./Grand Junction H.S.) averaged 9.0 points and 4.0 rebounds.
•   The Roadrunners forced an average of 22.0 turnovers.

•   Defense, rebounding and taking care of the ball have been characteristics of the Roadrunners since Haave took over.
