DENVER - No. 1 Metro State's bid to go 20-0 will have to wait one more night as its game Friday night was postponed until Sunday night due to a shattered backboard. The game will be completed at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Auraria Event Center with free admission for all fans.
The Roadrunners will be leading 21-16 with 6:44 left in the first half against Colorado Mines when play resumes following a dunk by CSM's Trevor Wages that sent glass flying.
MSU's
Nicholas Kay (Tamworth, Australia/Newington College) leads all scorers with nine points.
The backboard will be replaced Saturday morning before Metro State hosts Colorado Christian at 7 p.m.
