LAKEWOOD, Colo. - No. 20 Metropolitan State University of Denver fell 25-23, 25-21, 20-25, 25-23 at Colorado Christian on Saturday in Lakewood, Colorado. The Roadrunners dropped to 21-5 overall and 15-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with their second straight loss, while CCU improved to 18-12 and 9-9 in the RMAC, securing a spot in the RMAC tournament. It was the final regular season match for both teams.

Kylee Hoagland (Mead, Colo./Skyline H.S.) led the offense with 14 kills, hitting .379.
Vasati Fiatoa (Las Vegas, Nev./Bonanza H.S.) returned to action after missing nearly a month with a leg injury, and had 11 kills in hit .421 in three sets of action.
Summer Greager (Colorado Springs, Colo./Colorado Springs Christian H.S.) added 11 kills as well.

Savannah Garcia (Platteville, Colo./Valley H.S.) had 27 digs, leading a strong back row from the Roadrunners that limited CCU to a .171 hitting percentage. Greager had 12 digs and

After dropping the second set 25-21, MSU Denver came out strong in the third, leading 9-3 early. The Roadrunners went on to hit .222, their best offensive frame of the night.
