The Roadrunners improved to 5-0-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with the win, while the Rangers dropped to 3-1-0 and 1-1-0.

Jack Mayfield (Boulder, Colo./Fairview H.S.) dribbled to the endline in the left side of the box and crossed the ball to the far post where Arrubla scored on a one-touch shot, providing the game's only goal.

Scoring chances in the game were fairly even as MSU Denver outshot RU 17-15.

James Tanner (Lake Stevens, Wash./Lake Stevens H.S.) stopped six shots for the Roadrunners for his second career shutout.

The Roadrunners will host Colorado Christian at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
