LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Metropolitan State University of Denver rallied from a halftime deficit to earn a 67-53 win at Colorado Christian on Friday night in Lakewood. The Roadrunners improved to 8-4 overall and 5-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while CCU dropped to 4-10 and 4-4.

Deni Jacobs (Plains, Kan./Southwestern Heights H.S.) scored a game-high 18 points and had nine rebounds, shooting 7-of-13 from the floor.
Emily Hartegan (Frisco, Texas/Wylie East H.S.) added 11 points, eight points and three assists off the bench.
Georgia Ohrdorf (Wollongong, Australia/St. Mary Star of the Sea College) had nine points and four steals and
Jenae Paine (Oregon City, Ore./Oregon City H.S.) knocked down a pair of 3-pointers to score seven points.

MSU Denver was forced into 12 first-half turnovers, but shot 60 percent to trail by just one point at 35-34 at halftime.

An 8-0 run early in the second half gave the Roadrunners a 45-38 lead and they led the remainder of the game.
Kaysha Fox (Tacoma, Wash./Woodrow Wilson H.S.) scored back-to-back baskets to start the run.

MSU Denver built its lead to double digits with 5:45 remaining and led by as many as 17 points in the final minutes.

CCU was led by Alyssa Fressle, who had 14 points and made 6-of-7 at the free throw line.

For the game, MSU Denver shot 54.2 percent from the floor and forced 20 turnovers. Defensively, MSU Denver held the Cougars to just 31.4 percent shooting, including just 1-of-13 from 3-point range. In the second half, CCU shot just 14.8 percent.
