Denver - The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's soccer team fell to Fort Lewis College 3-0 on Wednesday evening in the first round of the RMAC Tournament.

The Roadrunners managed only 12 shots in the contest of which five were on goal.  Junior Hayden Rus (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) had two saves in the game.

Fort Lewis struck quickly in the first half scoring in the third minute of the game.  Tamino Kroeger scored the first of two goals of the evening off of a pass by Yannis Becker.  The second goal put up by the Skyhawks was a pass from Zac Lawrence to Becker in the 22nd minute.  It was Becker's seventh goal of the season.

The final of the game came in the 65th minute when Becker found Kroeger again.  The two goals by Kroeger were his eighth and ninth of the season.

The Roadrunners finish the season at 13-4-2 overall.
