Box Score DURANGO, Colo. - Fort Lewis used a 14-0 run late in the game to upset No. 9/12 Metropolitan State University of Denver 68-64 on Friday night. The Roadrunners had their nine-game winning streak snapped as they dropped to 21-4 overall and 16-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while FLC improved to 18-7 and 13-6.

Nicholas Kay (Tamworth, Australia/Newington College) scored 18 points and had nine rebounds and five assists to lead the Roadrunners in both categories. He made 8-of-9 at the line and 5-of-11 from the floor.
Will Sinclair (Lilydale, Australia/Lilydale Heights College) scored 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting and pulled down five rebounds.
Eric Rayer (Colorado Springs/Coronado H.S.) scored 10 points.
Jourdon Hunter (Denver, Colo./Kennedy H.S.) made all 3-of-4 3-point attempts and matched

The Roadrunners battled to a 34-28 halftime lead after shooting 52 percent in the first half behind 13 points from Kay.

MSU Denver stretched its lead to 11 points midway through the first half, but the Skyhawks used a 14-0 run to take a 56-53 lead with 4:05 to go.

Will Sinclair (Lilydale, Australia/Lilydale Heights College) sunk a hook shot from the middle of the lane for the Roadrunners with 2:25 remaining to tie the game at 56-56. Jared Smith answered with a 3-pointer and FLC led the rest of the game.
