Box Score Denver – The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's basketball team defeated Colorado Christian University 66-62. The Roadrunners are now 9-7 overall and 7-3 in RMAC. The Cougars fell to 7-9 overall and 3-7 in RMAC.

MSU Denver has been undefeated at home against Colorado Christian since March of 1993. Junior
Andre Harris (DeKalb, Ill./DeKalb H.S.) led the Roadrunners with 15 points and five rebounds.Â

It was a defensive battle in the first half with each team not giving an inch. Both teams went into the locker with Colorado Christian leading 25-24.

The second half would prove to be a shootout. The score was tied 10 times throughout the game and there were 13 lead changes between the two teams.

Senior
Tony Dobbinson (Stamford, Conn./Westhill H.S.) would make three of his final four three-point attempts in the final seven minutes of play to give the Roadrunners momentum.

With 1:19 remaining junior
Brian Howard (Maywood, Ill./Saint Ignatius H.S.) was fouled on a three-point attempt. He would make all three free throws to give the Roadrunners a lead of 63-58. Sophomore Peter Muller would add three more free-throws to seal the Roadrunners victory at 66-62.

The Cougars were led by Isaiah Hanson who had 14 points and six rebounds.
