Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver volleyball team will continue conference play on the road September 23 at Adams State at 7 p.m. and 5 p.m. September 24 at Fort Lewis.
MSU Denver finished 2-0 in it's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference season openers this past weekend. The Roadrunners defeated both Regis and Chadron State 3-1 to kick off RMAC play and improve their overall record to 7-3 and conference record to 2-0. Senior
Brandi Torr (Albuquerque, N.M./La Cueva H.S.) was named RMAC setter of the week for the second week in a row after tallying a total of 103 assists on the weekend.
Adams State is coming off of two road wins this past weekend. The Grizzlies defeated Black Hills State 3-1 and South Dakota Mines 3-0. The Skyhawks won both matches on the road as defeating South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State 3-1.
