Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's basketball team will travel to Missouri this weekend to take on No. 1 Northwest Missouri State and Upper Iowa University.
The Roadrunners look to bounce back after a tough start to the season. The team fell 89-78 to Tarleton State and 90-82 to Angelo State.
The defending National Champions, Northwest Missouri State started the season off with two wins last weekend. The Bearcats defeated Upper Iowa 85-69 and Northern State 71-60.
Upper Iowa lost both of its games last weekend. Falling to Northwest Missouri 89-65 and Missouri Western State 77-65. The Peacocks are 3-2 overall this season.
Friday's game against the Bearcats will take place at 7 p.m. CT and Saturday's game against the Peacocks will take place at 1 p.m. CT.
