Women’s Basketball: MSU Denver Kicks off 2017-18 Season at Texas A&M Commerce

Roadrunners to play two road game in Texas

Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's basketball team will travel to Commerce Texas to take on Texas A&M Commerce and Lubock Christian University.
 
The Roadrunners will play Texas A&M Commerce in the first game on the road on Friday, November 10 at 3 p.m. CT.  The second game will take place against Lubbock Christian on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. CT
 
MSU Denver is coming off the 2016-17 season with an overall record of 18-12 and 14-8 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.  The Roadrunner fell to UCCS in the quarterfinals of the RMAC tournament.
 
Tanya Haave enters her eighth season as head coach of the Roadrunners.  The team will return eight and add four to the 2017-18 roster.
Texas A&M Commerce finished the 201617 season going 20-9 overall and 14-6 in Conference play. The Lions were pick to finish fifth in the Lone Star Conference this season.
 
Lubbock Christian finished the 2016-17 season 19-11 overall and 12-4 in conference.  The Lady Chaps were selected to finish on top of the Lone Star Conference this season.
