Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's basketball team went 1-1 this weekend at home and are set to face two RMAC opponents on the road this weekend.

MSU Denver meets No. 6 Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado Saturday, December 16 at 3 p.m. then are set to face Colorado Christian in Lakewood, Colorado Sunday, December 17 also at 3 p.m.

The Roadrunners couldn't stop Regis defensively as they gave up 85 points, but were able to lock down Chadron State the following day holding their opponent to under 70 points.

Cameron Williams (Omaha, Nebraska/Omaha South H.S.) scored 24 of the Roadrunners 79 points and recorded three steals as well.

The Roadrunners now hold an overall record of 4-6 and are 3-1 in conference play. They look to improve their record this weekend.

Mines sits number six in the nation right now with an overall undefeated season at 10-0. They are 4-0 against RMAC competition. Colorado Christian has an overall record of 2-8 and is 1-3 in conference play.Â
