Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's basketball team split their series at home this past weekend and are looking to improve their record on the road this weekend.

MSU Denver travels to Golden, Colorado to take on Colorado School of Mines Saturday, December 16 at 1 p.m. then to Lakewood, Colorado to face Colorado Christian Sunday, December 17 at 1 p.m.

The Roadrunners fell to Regis last weekend, but were able to rally and defeat Chadron State the following day.

In their win against Chadron, MSU Denver was led by seniorÂ
Emily Hartegan (Wylie, Texas/Wylie East H.S.) who finished the game with 16 points and 9 rebounds. They also got a boost in scoring from J'Nae Squires Horton who scored 14 points of her own.

The Roadrunners currently hold an overall record of 6-4 and are sitting at .500 in their conference with a record of 2-2.

Mines holds an overall record of 7-3 this season and sit undefeated in conference at 4-0. Colorado Christian is 3-6 on the season and 1-3 in the RMAC.
