Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's basketball team is looking to remain hot at home this weekend after winning both games on the road last weekend.
Tip of is at 7 p.m. both Friday and Saturday and both games will take place at the Auraria Events Center.
The Roadrunners defeated South Dakota School of Mines as well as Black Hills State in two highly contested games. They are now 3-5 on the year.
In their battle against South Dakota School of Mines, MSU Denver was lead to a 61-58 victory by seniors
Cameron Williams (Omaha, Nebraska/Omaha South H.S.) and
Peter Møller (Værløse, Denmark/Falkonergårdens Gymnasium) scoring 43 points combined.
In their game against Black Hills got a huge boost on the boards by senior
Bounama Keita (Saint-Louis, Senegal/Impact Basketball Academy (Fla.)) who recorded 12 rebounds in their 62-56 win, earning him RMAC defensive player of the week.
MSU Denver faces a tough task this weekend at home as they face Regis University who are 6-1 this season and 1-1 in conference play.
Chadron is 3-5 overall this season and 1-1 in RMAC play.
