Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's soccer team will kick off the 2017 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference season on Wednesday, September 13 against Colorado Christian in Lakewood, Colorado at 7 p.m. The Roadrunners will also travel to South Dakota Mines to take on the Hardrockers on Sunday, September 17 at 11 a.m.
 
The Roadrunners fell in both non-conference games this past weekend, falling in a 2-1 heartbreaker in the last two minutes of the game against Seattle Pacific.  MSU Denver fell the next game to Western Washington 2-1.  The team is now 0-4-0 in the 2017 season.
 
The Cougars also hosted Seattle Pacific and Western Washington over the weekend. In the first game CCU tied Western Washington 2-2.  They fell in the second game 3-2. The Cougars are now 0-3-1 on the season. 
 
South Dakota mines is coming off one tie last weekend in which they tied University of Mary.  The Hardrockers are 1-0-2 this season.
