Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver volleyball team are looking to extend their winning streak to five games this weekend when they travel to New Mexico Highlands and CSU-Pueblo.
The weekend kicks off Friday, September 29 at 7 p.m. in Las Vegas, NM against the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys and continues until Saturday, September 30 at 7 p.m. in Pueblo, CO against the CSU-Pueblo Thunder Wolves.
The Roadrunner's have looked impressive in their last three games giving up only one set to Chadron State and they are now 3-1 in RMAC play. MSU Denver took two games last weekend in three sets to Adams State and Fort Lewis. The teams overall record is at 6-6.
The New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls are split its matches ast weekend on the road, taking the first match against South Dakota Mines 3-1 and falling the next night to Black Hills 3-0. The Cowgirls are now 4-5 on the year and 1-3 in RMAC play.
CSU-Pueblo also split its games last weekend. The team fell 3-2 to Black Hills but bounded back to take a 3-1 win over South Dakota Mines. The Thunderwolves have an overall record of 2-10 and 1-3 in RMAC play.
