Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's basketball team will host Colorado Mesa and Western State for its second straight home weekend.
The Roadrunners will take on Colorado Mesa on Friday, January 19 and Western Saturday, January 20. Both games are scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m.
MSU Denver is coming off a strong weekend in which they went 2-0 . The Roadrunners defeated CSU-Pueblo 63-60 and then dominated New Mexico Highlands for a 73-41 win the next night. The team currently sits third in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with an overall record of 9-8 and a conference record of 8-3.
Colorado Mesa sits 10
th in the conference with a 8-9 overall record and 4-7 RMAC record. The last time the two sides met, the Roadrunners defeated the Mavericks 81-78 in Grand Junction.
Western State Sits ninth in the RMAC with an overall record of 7-10 and a conference record of 4-7.
