Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's basketball team heads out on the road this weekend to take on Fort Lewis and Adams State.
 
MSU Denver will take on Fort Lewis on Friday, January 5 at 5:30 p.m. in its first game of the new year. The team will take on Adams State the next night at 5:30.
 
The Roadrunners are coming off a big come-from-behind win over Colorado Mesa last weekend.  The team improved to 9-4 overall and 5-2 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.
 
Fort Lewis holds an overall record of 13-1 this season and 7-1 in conference play.  Adams State is 1-7 overall and 3-7 in RMAC play.
