Denver- Metropolitan State University of Denver men's tennis junior Joey Tscherne (Sylmar, Calif./John F. Kennedy H.S.) was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's tennis player of the week following his performance last week against nationally and regionally ranked opponents.
 
Tscherne took three of his four matches last week.  At no. 1 doubles him and his partner Josh Graetz (Albury, Australia/The Scots School) won their match against no. 22 St. Mary's 8-4.  He then went on to win his no. 2 singles match 6-3, 6-2. The same day against Cameron Tscherne won his singles match 6-2, 6-1.
 
The Roadrunners will take on Colorado Christian tomorrow, Thursday March 8 in Lakewood.
