Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's basketball team will travel to Lubbock Texas for the 2018 NCAA regional tournament.  The Roadrunners will take on CSU-Pueblo in the first round on Friday at 12 p.m. CT.
 
The Roadrunners NCAA appearance is the first since 2012-13 season in which they made it to the sweet 16.
 
MSU Denver will take on CSU-Pueblo for the second time this season on Friday.  The Roadrunners defeated CSU-Pueblo 85-82 at home on January 12.  The Roadrunners hold an overall record of 22-8.  The Thunderwolves are 25-6.
