DENVER – MSU Denver coach
Michael Bahl has tapped into familiar recruiting territory with the addition of Australian
Tom Garrett.
Garrett, a 6-foot-5 guard from Frankston, joins a long line of Australians who have played for Metropolitan State University of Denver over the years. Earlier this summer, the Roadrunners also added transfer
Maris Colton of Melbourne, Australia.
A capsule look at the new recruit:

Coach Michael Bahl: "Thomas comes to us with great size and ability from the guard position. He has the ability to play multiple spots on the floor, which adds to his versatility as a player. He has the ability to score at all three levels, but his toughness and basketball IQ are the things that we like the most about him. At the end of the day Thomas is a blue-collar type of player, and that's the type of player we want in our program."
