GOLDEN, Colo. – The MSU Denver baseball team maintained its No. 4 ranking in the NCBWA's South Central Regional poll.
The Roadrunners accumulated 82 poll points, up from 70 last week, and now trails No. 3 West Texas A&M by 20 points after having a 31-point deficit last week.
MSU Denver, ranked No. 19 nationally last week, is off to a 15-1 start, including 11-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, after sweeping a four-game series at New Mexico Highlands.
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers' regional poll ranks teams that compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic and Lone Star Conferences. It isn't affiliated with the NCAA regional rankings that are used to fill out the NCAA Tournament field.
