DENVER – MSU Denver Athletics announced Tuesday that its Feb. 5 men's basketball home game against Regis will be televised locally on KWGN-Channel 2.
The game at the Auraria Event Center is set to start at 6 p.m.
Both local teams are competing for spots in the NCAA Division II Tournament. Regis is 14-2 overall and second in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference at 9-1, and the Rangers were ranked 12
th and 17
th in last week's national polls. MSU Denver is 13-4 overall and 7-4 for fourth in the RMAC.
MSU Denver is also scheduled to recognize the 20-year anniversary of its 2002 NCAA Division II men's basketball national championship team, which won the program's second national title.
Since the men's game is set to be televised, the start time of the preceding women's basketball game between MSU Denver and Regis is being moved up to 3:30 p.m.
