DENVER – Roadrunners fans, it's the season of gratitude on campus, and the MSU Denver Department of Athletics wants to say thanks to everyone who has supported the program all year long.
As a way to say thanks to all Roadrunners fans, admission to this weekend's basketball games at the Auraria Event Center will be free.
The MSU Denver men play host to Sioux Falls (S.D.) on Friday and to Cal Poly Humboldt on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. each day. The MSU Denver women precede the men on Friday, with a 2 p.m. game against Texas-Permian Basin.
It was a terrific fall season, with the MSU Denver volleyball team reaching No. 1 in Division II for the final four weeks of the season while winning regular-season and post-season RMAC championships, and the men's and women's soccer teams each having their best seasons in several years. And the cross country program hosted two outstanding meets, including last weekend's South Central Regional.
Admission for MSU Denver students, faculty and staff is always free with valid MSU Denver identification.
