DENVER – MSU Denver has announced a partnership with INFLCR, a Teamworks product that will be accessible to Roadrunners student-athletes and provide them with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the new age of Name, Image and Likeness following the recent legislation approved by the NCAA in 2021.
MSU Denver is among the first schools in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and one of only a small number of NCAA Division II to partner with INFLCR.
"As we enter into this new era of marketing, sponsorship and promotions, our partnership with INFLCR will help our student-athletes become brand ambassadors while assisting them in understanding policies and procedures regarding NIL," said
Todd Thurman, MSU Denver's director of athletics. "We're excited that our student-athletes will be able to use the expertise that INFLCR provides while maximizing their opportunities."
INFLCR is designed to educate staff and student-athletes about new opportunities from current NIL guidelines with tools on legislation, fiscal responsibility and optimizing branding endeavors.
"We're excited to provide MSU Denver student-athletes with the technology to grow their NIL footprint," said INFLCR Founder Jim Cavale. "Navigating brand building and NIL affects every division of collegiate athletics, so our partnership with MSU Denver comes at a crucial time to make sure all current and future student-athletes have the resources they need to be successful."
