DENVER – Metropolitan State University of Denver Director of Athletics Todd Thurman has announced that 115 MSU Denver student-athletes have been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the 2022 fall semester.
Student-athletes are recognized for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. MSU Denver had 246 student-athletes enrolled for the semester, and they compiled an outstanding overall GPA of 3.31.
The 115 honorees are three short of the school record, set during the fall semester of 2021.
Highlighting the award winners are 33 who earned perfect 4.0 GPAs, six short of the school record.
Those with 4.0 GPAs in the fall are: Brianna Bailey (women's basketball), Natalie Boragine (women's soccer), Audrey Burt (softball), Bryson Chiles (men's soccer), Katy Coats (women's soccer), Eric Cox (baseball), Kinsey Fields (women's tennis), Teagan Garand (women's cross country/track), Rebecca Gonzales (softball), Noah Hannula (men's soccer), Isabel Heras (women's tennis), Jocelyn Korbe (women's cross country/track), Jaivion Lattimore (women's cross country/track), Maximo Lawlor (men's tennis), Maddie Lindsay (volleyball), Kailey Maness (women's soccer), Shawn Mantey (men's soccer), Abbie McCrimmon (volleyball), Brady Mello (baseball), Ross Miller (men's soccer), Dani Nelson (women's soccer), Kendra Painter-Hayes (women's cross country/track), Ben Perla (baseball), Maya Ries (women's cross country/track), Shelby Robb (softball), Allyssa Romero (women's cross country/track), Brianna Sealy (women's basketball), Leilah Vigil (women's basketball), Townes Wallace (men's soccer), Jake Williams (baseball), Maddy Williams (volleyball), Heidi Yagen (women's cross country/track) and Elli Zimmer (women's soccer).
The MSU Denver volleyball program posted the department's highest GPA for the semester a 3.73, with 13 of the 17 on the roster making the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. Both the women's tennis and women's cross country/track & field programs had 3.56 GPAs. The top men's program was the soccer team, which had a 3.31 GPA.
