SURPRISE, Ariz. – The ninth-seeded MSU Denver women's tennis team suffered a 4-0 defeat Wednesday against eighth-seeded Dominican (Calif.) in the first round of the Pacific West Conference Tournament.
Lilly Stienemeier and
Emily Hafner won their No. 2 doubles match 6-2, but Dominican won the other two matches to earn the doubles point.
In singles,
Kambra Roles pushed her match at No. 4 into a third set, but Dominican clinched the dual before the match was completed.
MSU Denver will play its final match of the season in consolation play on Thursday at 5 p.m. MST.
