This Week in Roadrunners Athletics

DENVER — Championship play, conference title chases, and the start of basketball season highlight a packed week for MSU Denver Athletics from Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Monday, Nov. 17.

Fans are reminded that with basketball season underway, the RMAC Network is now a pay-per-view service, and passes can be purchased at rmacnetwork.com/purchase.

Men's Soccer
Wednesday, Nov. 12 – vs. Regis (Denver, Colo.) – 5 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 16 – RMAC Championship (TBD)

The postseason begins at home for the No. 2-seeded MSU Denver men's soccer team, which will host No. 3 Regis in the RMAC Tournament semifinals Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Assembly Athletic Complex.

The Roadrunners are coming off their best regular-season and conference record since 2019 (10–7–1 overall, 8–5–1 RMAC) and their highest RMAC finish since 2012, when they placed third. With a win Wednesday, MSU Denver would advance to the RMAC Championship match on Sunday, which could be played either at home or at UCCS depending on results elsewhere in the bracket.

Women's Volleyball
Friday, Nov. 14 – vs. Adams State (Denver, Colo.) – 6 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 15 – vs. New Mexico Highlands (Denver, Colo.) – 4 p.m.

The No. 10-ranked MSU Denver volleyball team returns home for the final weekend of the regular season, with matches Friday against Adams State and Saturday against New Mexico Highlands.

The Roadrunners enter the weekend 21–3 overall and riding a 12-match winning streak, maintaining their spot atop the RMAC standings. Two wins would clinch the RMAC regular-season championship, adding to an already dominant stretch that has seen MSU Denver win 36 of its last 37 sets.

Women's Basketball
Friday, Nov. 14 – at Texas Permian Basin (Odessa, Texas) – 5:15 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 16 – at West Texas A&M (Canyon, Texas) – 1 p.m.

A new era begins for MSU Denver women's basketball as head coach Lynn Kennedy makes his debut on the sidelines. The Roadrunners open the 2025–26 regular season on the road in Texas, beginning Friday at Texas Permian Basin before facing West Texas A&M on Sunday afternoon.

Men's Basketball
Sunday, Nov. 16 – vs. Texas A&M International (Denver, Colo.) – 3 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 17 – vs. Sul Ross State (Denver, Colo.) – 3 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 16 – Black Hills State vs. Sul Ross State (Denver, Colo.) – 1 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 17 – Black Hills State vs. Texas A&M International (Denver, Colo.) – 1 p.m.

The Roadrunners men's basketball team tips off the 2025–26 season with a two-day showcase at the Auraria Event Center. MSU Denver will host Texas A&M International in its season and home opener on Sunday at 3 p.m., then return Monday at 3 p.m. to face Sul Ross State.

Both days will feature a neutral-site matchup between Black Hills State and the Roadrunners' Texas opponents, beginning at 1 p.m. each day.
