DENVER — MSU Denver women's soccer wrapped up its 2025 campaign Wednesday evening at the Assembly Athletic Complex, falling 1–0 to Colorado Christian in the regular-season finale.
The Roadrunners finish the season 2-9-7 overall and 2-6-4 in RMAC play, while Colorado Christian improved to 3-8-6 overall and 2-5-5 in the league. The loss prevented MSU Denver from clinching a spot in the RMAC Tournament, marking the end of head coach Katie Hooker's first season leading the program.
The match remained scoreless until the 86th minute, when the Cougars capitalized on a late corner opportunity to find the back of the net. Despite generating eight shots and four corner kicks, MSU Denver couldn't break through against the CCU defense.
Senior midfielder Monica Yoder led the Roadrunners' attack with two shots, while goalkeeper Kiley Hyde made one save in 90 minutes of action.
The Roadrunners showed improvement throughout the second half of the season, highlighted by strong defensive performances and several closely contested draws, setting a foundation for future growth under Hooker's direction.
