DENVER, Colo. -- MSU Denver Roadrunners sophomore pitcher
Drew Peters has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Pitcher of the Week the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Peters earns the honor after an incredible performance Monday afternoon against New Mexico Highlands that earned MSU Denver series sweep with a 10-3 win.
The California native went six innings, allowing no earned runs and three hits. He also struck out 10 batters, the second-most for a Roadrunners starter this season.
He is now 2-0 on the campaign and lowered his season ERA to 5.82, the second-lowest on the pitching staff.
